What to expect for Skype in 2007
Hey, showing off my buddy's world class collection of skype products. Thought I was crazy about skype with my studying rooms filling up with skype boxes..but this guy is truly amazing...Let look at some of his "collections"..
" First of all, the headset, then got a usb-sound dongle to connect the headset in front of the pc, this evolved into skype USB-boxes (Yappernut, Mplat USB2K, Usrobotics, AU-600(proud sponsor from skypeway..hehe..) to connect to phones, then cames the usb-cable-phones (Ipevo Free-1, IPfones usb-phone), 2 usb-skype mouses… followed by usb-wireless skype-phones(guess who's e sponser). Eventually I got a Polycom Communicator, an Ipevo Xing box, some Dualphone Dect Skype phones. Then finally a cordless Dualphone with Skype built in (direct connection to RJ-45 with a base hub, so the phone is free, no computer needed). What else, oh yeah an HP Ipaq Pda cellphone and a Belkin Skype Wifi phone. I also like the usb-bluetooth dongle device from Plantronics (works with 2 bluetooth devices and skype). To conclude, I am currently testing the Skyqube. And since bandwidth is a rare commodity lately in S.E. Asia, I don’t feel the need to share mine via the Fon.com router. For business users checkout the Vosky box, the Wisecomtechbox, the Zipcom box that allow to connect Skype to PBX’s." (Adapted from Jan's Blog)
